Maintenance and Care of Blow Molding Machine
Maintenance and care of blow molding machine is crucial for ensuring long-term stable operation, improving production efficiency, and extending service life.

Routine Inspection and Maintenance:
1. Cleaning: Keep the blow molding machine surface, working area, and electrical control cabinet clean to prevent dust and dirt from affecting equipment heat dissipation and circuit safety. Promptly remove residual plastic from the mold and screw.
2. Lubrication: Regularly check and add or replace lubricating oil or grease to the blow molding machine’s transmission components (such as guide rails, connecting rods, and bearings) to ensure smooth operation of moving parts and reduce wear.
3. Fastener Inspection: Check all bolts and nuts for looseness, especially those on mold locking parts, heating element connections, and mechanical transmission components.
4. Safety Inspection: Check the sensitivity and reliability of safety devices such as safety doors and emergency stop switches.

Hydraulic System Maintenance:
1. Oil Quality: Regularly check the hydraulic oil level, cleanliness, and temperature. Replace the oil immediately if it changes color, emulsifies, or has an unusual odor.
2. Filter: Regularly clean or replace the hydraulic oil filter element to keep the oil clean and prevent clogging or damage to hydraulic components.
3. Component Inspection: Check oil pumps, valves, oil pipes, etc. for leaks or abnormal noise.
Electrical System Maintenance:
1. Wiring Inspection: Inspect all wires and cables for damage or aging, ensuring secure connections.
2. Electrical Components: Regularly clean the electrical control cabinet, checking the working status and contact wear of contactors, relays, temperature controllers, and other electrical components.
3. Grounding: Check the blow molding machine‘s grounding for proper function to ensure electrical safety.
4. Temperature Control: Check the heating system (e.g., heating coils, thermocouples, temperature controllers) for normal operation, ensuring accurate temperature control.
Extrusion System (Screw and Barrel) Maintenance:
1. Cleaning: When stopping the machine or changing raw materials, thoroughly clean the screw and barrel according to operating procedures to prevent plastic decomposition or carbonization.
2. Rust Prevention: If the machine is to be shut down for an extended period, apply rust-preventive oil to the working surfaces of the screw and barrel.
3. Wear Inspection: Regularly check the wear of the screw and barrel; replace them if severely worn.
Mold and Air Blowing System Maintenance:
1. Mold Cleaning and Rust Prevention: Thoroughly clean the mold after each production run. For extended periods of inactivity, apply rust inhibitor to the working surfaces of the mold.
2. Cooling System: Check the cooling pipes of the mold and oil/water cooling system for blockages, leaks, or obstructions.
3. Air Blowing System: Check the air supply pressure for stability, and ensure the air nozzles and valves are flexible, reliable, and leak-free.
